How to charter the Cape Pine
The Cape Pine is available for hire as a bare-boat charter. There are legal differences between a bareboat charter and other types of charter arrangement, such as crewed or luxury yacht charter.
In a voyage or time charter you charter the ship (or part of it) for a particular voyage or for a set period of time.
In a bare-boat charter, on the other hand, the owner gives you the posession of the ship for the duration of the charter contract. You are in complete control of the ship and decide what to do with it and where to go. If you are sufficiently experienced you may operate the ship yourself. Otherwise, you will need hire your own qualified crew. A captain, an engineer, and a deckhand are necessary to operate the Cape Pine safely. You are able to go where you want, when you want to, as long as the crew you hired agrees to take you there. If you require it, we will assist you in finding an experienced crew to operate the Cape Pine for you.
